Induction/Briefing

Problem

Preparing staff for entry onto real sites and into hazardous processes is important but difficult. Standard inductions and briefings are often dull events that fail to engage with people. As a result they can often be an expensive waste-of-time. Failure to engage means that people fail to retain key site information.

Solution

Immersive systems can be used in a wide variety of induction and briefing situations. The highly visual nature of content means that people remember things for longer. The wide-screen nature of the images also helps people put things into context. When combined with immersive video and BIM models the whole induction/briefing experience is much more effective.

Benefits

  • Give staff a deeper understanding of your site and processes

  • Identify hazards and risks

  • Speed up inductions

  • Customise briefings for groups

  • Increase knowledge retention
